Carrie’s Cookies grew from Carrie’s lifelong love of baking and the family traditions that have inspired her. As a young girl and throughout adulthood, Carrie spent holidays and special occasions baking cookies with her mother, often using old-world Italian family recipes passed down through generations.
A Pittsburgh, PA native with strong Italian heritage, Carrie’s connection to these traditions runs deep. Her family originated in Santo Stefano di Sessanio, Italy, in the Abruzzo region, making her signature pizzelles especially meaningful. They are made using an iron designed by a man from Abruzzo, creating a special connection between the tools she uses today and the place her family came from.
Today, Carrie continues to bake cookies for family and friends, using many of the same cookies and recipes she shared with her mother. What began as a personal tradition has grown into a business built around the same principles Carrie has always valued in her own kitchen of using quality ingredients and never compromising on taste.
Carrie’s Cookies brings a personal, homemade approach to cookies made for everyday enjoyment as well as life’s most special occasions.
